wondered what the heck that thing was. Apparently it's a 1973 (Australian) Ford XB GT Falcon with a 351 cu. in., 300 hp motor. The most similar car in the U.S. was the Ford Torino, I believe. The supercharger (that in the movie could be switched on and off) was faked for the movie, although the Weiand supercharger company really does exist. Man that thing was badass. When you compare, Mad Max and Road Warrior really blow F&F away anyday. Link to Mad Max site
